The North Valley Coalition has been committed to
protecting the health of families and the environment in
the Los Angeles area for more than 20 years. Our accomplishments
range from preserving parklands to stopping toxic waste
incinerators. The most current, and of utmost importance to all
of our members, is our fight to oppose the expansion of the Sunshine Canyon Dump,
and to hold BFI accountable for ongoing violations of
the Solid Waste Facilities Permit (SWFP) and their City
and County Conditional Use Permits(CUP).
The North Valley Coalition is a NON-PROFIT 501(c)3 organization
of dedicated volunteers who receive no compensation for
their labor and involvement. We depend solely on
volunteers and contributions from individuals and
